Spiritwood is a city in Stutsman County, North Dakota, United States. The population was 14 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Jamestown, ND Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Spiritwood is located north of Jamestown, along Spiritwood Creek. It is the site of the Spiritwood Station, a coal-fired electric power plant that generates electricity for the region. The plant is a joint venture between Great River Energy and Otter Tail Power Company.
The city also has a general store and a post office. The surrounding area is primarily agricultural, with farms and ranches producing grains, livestock, and dairy products. Outdoor recreational opportunities include hunting, fishing, and camping in nearby Spiritwood Lake and Pelican Lake.
